Long Term Accommodation in Edinburgh

Edinburgh Georgian Property

Any property that is available for any period of 6 months or overis classed as a "Long Term" property. Normally tenants are asked to sign a ‘Short Assured’ Tenancy in terms of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988. This essentially assures the tenant can occupy the property for the period of the let and assures the landlord can repossess the property at the end of the let.

Payments

We accept most methods of payment including credit / debit cards and electronic transfers as well as all the traditional forms of payment. Cleared funds are usually required before access is given to properties.

Other Charges

Prices for long term properties are quoted excluding all council tax and occupiers charges. Utilities and phone go into the tenants' names for the period of the tenancy.

Deposits

The deposit is normally one months rent and is held in trust by Factotum to pay for any breakages or damages and cleaning required at the end of the let.
